3. Purpose for the processing of personal data

The registrants are the contact persons of the registrar’s customers and potential customers, users of the registrar’s services and websites.
Personal data will be processed for the following purposes: sales and marketing activities, acquiring new customers, managing and developing existing customer relationships, invoicing and for statistical purposes.

Identification information

  • telephone number
  • ip address information or other identifier
  • Information related to customer relationship management and/or marketing provided by the customer

5. Retention period of personal data

Personal data will be kept for as long as we need it for the purposes mentioned above.

6. Regular sources of information

The information stored in the register is mainly collected from the registrants themselves through Designal’s website or through other communication. Behavioral information is collected mainly for statistical purposes through Designal’s website using cookies and Google Analytics.

7. Cookies

Designal’s websites use cookies and by closing the website’s cookie pop-up and by continuing to use the site you allow their use.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Among other things, they help the webmaster to develop its website and find out how visitors use the site.

8. Regular disclosures

The information in the register is confidential and is handled primarily by only our employees or our subcontractors on a limited contractual basis.

The information may also be disclosed to the party who handles the data responsibly only in situations, if the implementation of the service requires it, e.g. in co-operation projects.

Information is not regularly disclosed outside the company. Some of the external service or software providers used by the company may store data outside the EU or the European Economic Area.

9. Security Principles of Registry

The information system is protected by the technical protection methods normally used in business operations.

Access to the register is protected by usernames and personal passwords. Only those employees who have the right to process personal data for their work are entitled to use the system containing customer data.

10. Rights of the data subject

According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the data subject has the right to check what information about him/her has been stored in the personal data register. The registered person has the right to demand the correction or deletion of incorrect or outdated data or the transfer of data from one system to another. He/her also has the right to limit or object to the processing of his data.

A written inspection or correction request must be sent signed to the person responsible for registry matters. The registrar corrects incorrect customer data upon receiving information about them.
